BODY SHOP TEMPE LOOKS INTO NEW BODY SHOP SOFTWARE
Here at Arizona Collision Center, we are always keeping our ear to the ground for new ways to improve our service in order to give you a better customer experience. Seeing new technologies enter the industry is exciting because of the benefits it can create for our collision repair Tempe customers.
This week, we came across news about a new software program called RepairCenter Hub, which was made specifically for body shops to improve communication and, ultimately, save time and money for shops and customers alike. While it will still be some time before the software is made widely available, check out what it can mean for consumers seeking an efficient body shop Tempe service.
ABOUT REPAIRCENTER HUB
Earlier this month Mitchell International released their new communication and collaboration software program, RepairCenter Hub. This new program is expected to build and improve communication between staff members at body shops, in addition to providing users with real-time alerts and updates on the service process.
RepairCenter Hub is currently finishing beta testing and is expected to become available nationwide within the next few months. This means that you may find the software being used in a collision repair Tempe shops by the end of the year.
IMPROVED COMMUNICATION
RepairCenter Hub operates as a social communication software, meaning that all staff members would be able to update and see details on the progress of a repair. For a lot of shops, this communication process still operates the old way: hunting down paperwork or a colleague to get an update on a vehicle’s collision repair. Tempe consumers these days expect a higher degree of communication than these out-dated processes and this is where a communication software like RepairCenter Hub comes in.
RepairCenter Hub would streamline that process and lead to better communication between staff and customers. So, when repairs move between different body shop Tempe staff members or if a customer calls for an update on the progress of their vehicle, this information is automatically saved and shared.
IMPROVED EFFICIENCY
As a social communication software, RepairCenter Hub is obviously expected to make communication faster for staff and consumers. Faster, more accurate communication also leads to saved time on repair service, which is a plus for any body shop Tempe consumer.
For example, if a vehicle is waiting on a part to arrive, the system would notify staff about the part’s anticipated arrival date. Once it does arrive, the information could be updated in the system so that all staff members are on the same page. Likewise, when you bring in a vehicle to a body shop Tempe for service, the system will provide reminders to staff about providing timely updates on repairs so that you won’t have to call the shop. All of this leads to quicker collision repair Tempe service and happier customers.
IMPROVED CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE
Nothing is more frustrating for customers than a lack of communication and service that operates at a slug’s pace. When communication and service times are improved, RepairCenter Hub could ultimately enhance the service experience for collision repair Tempe customers.
So what does this mean for body shop Tempe customers? Although the software isn’t available yet, you can bet that a number of shops will be adopting the program in the coming months.
